After the death of James Murray Lloyd and Elizabeth C McBlair, their two young sons: James Lloyd and Charles Tilghman Lloyd were raised by Emily McBlair. She was a sister of Mrs Edward Lloyd VI and Mrs James Lloyd

Charles Tilghman Lloyd was Killed at Gettsburg fighting in the 2nd Maryland Regiment of the Confederate Army.
