Note 1
I am one of the grandsons of Chalmers Fletcher Simmons.
My mother, who passed away in 1998 at 90 years of age was corresponding with Mary Shaw Makima and I still have some documents she sent her.
For one, C.F. Simmons, who I assume was one of the sons of Nobe, was married to Clara Lindsay who descends down from Millhouse (not the Nixon Milhouse) and Pence and Dilbone.
She is a direct descendant of the famous Dilbones who were victims of the Dilbone massacre recorded in "Miami County History" a book about Miami County in Indiana.
There were three children of Chalmers and Clara Simmons; Edith Lucille (my Mother), Ed Simmons (who was twice golf champion of Oregon), and "Bud" Simmons (who was a house gambler in Gardena, Calif.)
My parents had three children; Jan P. Van Gordon (myself), Leland James Van Gordon and Vanita Jane Van Gordon. Two of whom are still living.

My mistake... I forgot to include my Mother's Sister, Rae, who married Walden (first name not known).
"Bud" (Charles) married Dora Simmons (surname not known).
So, that's two sons and two daughters for Chalmers Fletcher Simmons.
Not enough info yet for his wife, Clara Edith Simmons (nee: Lindsay) from Piqua, Ohio.
