Mary was born in 1812 in North Carolina, the daughter of Elijah Terry and Mary Ann Prickett.
She died before 1875 in Morris County, Texas.
Her husband was Benjamin Wadsworth Saxon, who she married on 7 MAY 1829 in Autauga County, Alabama. Their eight known children were James Randolph (1833-1863), Theodora Mary (1834-c1917), Walter Terry (1836-1924), Antionett Adela (c1838-1848), Franklin Elmore (1840-1922), Benjamin (c1844-?), Mable Antoinette (1848-1898) and Jesse (>1850-?).
