Her husband was Holman Felix Simmons, who she married on 20 APR 1852 in Autauga County, Alabama. Their six known children were Mary (1856->1880), Benjamin Fletcher (1860-1939), Jane (c1862-1879), Holman Snell (1866-1950), Robert Terry (1868-1947) and Henry B (1871-?).

Theodora I (born c. 500 A.D. – died 28 June 548 in Constantinople), was empress of the Roman (Byzantine) Empire and the wife of Emperor Justinian I. Theodora is perhaps the most influential and powerful woman in the Roman Empire's history. Some sources even mention her as empress regnant with Justinian I as her co-regent.
