Note 1

I found the listing for  Lt. John Leeds Tilghman (1837-1864) , son of Gen. Tench Tilghman on your site. There is a gravesite at the Walker Family Cemetery, located on the property of Augusta State College/University in Augusta, (Richmond County) Georgia. (http://augusta.stateuniversity.com) with his name on it.  I've not seen it but am told it's fairly worn.  If you desire more info I'll see what I can do.

Kathy Davis, 706-294-4844  This lady Kathy called me today to pick my brain and my search led me to your site.  She has some background on the cemetery which might help.

http://www.walkerfamilycemetery.org includes John Leeds Tilgham 1837-1862 and photo of the grave. above grade, brick wall, Flat slab cover with inscription that isn't legible in the photo. "The campus of Georgia Regents University/Augusta State University frequently receives visitors curious to see the results of transforming a federal arsenal into an academic institution. The recent construction of a History Walk at the university which includes information on the arsenal, the Summerville neighborhood, and the city of Augusta has increased interest in the Walker Family Cemetery which is located on the western boundary of the campus and which predated the arsenal.
