His wife was Polly Drury, who he married on 10 SEP 1793 in Litchfield Hills, New York. Their ten known children were Mary (1798-?), James Lamson (1800-1863), John (1802-1890), Jared (1805-1880), Leonard (1807-1880), Sarah (1810-1846), Maria (1811-1839), George (1813-1899), Elijah Drury (1816-1846) and Esther R (1818-1867).
