Note 1

Joined US Marines in 1939, entered Naval Academy at Annapolis March 1941.

dropped out of Naval Academy after war started, as PFC fought in Pacific theater,

with invasion landings on several islands then into Marine OCS for 92? days before end of war.

stayed in Marine corp and fought in Korea at Incion? invasion. Wounded in shoulder by tank sharpel on day 13 and back to US to recover.
