James G. Beard, age 85, of Augusta, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord on Friday, November 11, 2022. He was born on August 31, 1937, to the late Samuel Jerome Beard and Henrietta Eugenia Ramsey Beard.
James loved the Lord and was of the Methodist faith. He was a member of the Arkansas American Legion for many years.
James is preceded in death by his parents; brothers John Berry Beard, Allen Ramsey Beard, and Samuel Jerome Beard Jr; and sisters Mary Leone Beard Daniel and Laura Gene Beard Munson.
James leaves behind his partner Freda Louise Chrestman; sons James G. Beard Jr. and Jeffrey L. Beard; grandchildren Jordan Beard, Jewell Beard, Justin Beard, and Samantha Singleton; and many more friends and extended family members too numerous to name.
