I am Fred Flynt Griffith, son of Mary Murley Flynt in your database. I haven't yet figured out how we are related; tracing Arthur Bowie back 4 generations I find no Flynts. They must be there somewhere!

One correction to offer:

Mary Murley Flynt, who married Sedgie Ford Griffith, Sr. (b. 30 Jan 1912 - d. 25 Jan 2004 both in Columbia, Marion, Mississippi) on 27 Oct 1940 in Columbia, died in Columbia (not Texas) on 21 May 2001. She is buried in the Flynt family tomb in the Columbia City Cemetery. Mary Murley was born, as you have it already, 14 Aug 1914 in Hattiesburg, Forrest, Mississippi. All 3 of her children are living.
