Benjamin was born on 20 Jun 1843 in Tennessee, the son of Jesse Alexaner and Mary Elizabeth Alexander.

He died on 18 Jul 1883 in Lonoke County, Arkansas.

His wife was Emma Venvilla Flynt, who he married on 25 JUN 1866 in Prairie County, Arkansas. Their five known children were Lizzie (1867-1877), Jesse Clayton (1875-1961), Daisy (1879-c1959), Alma Polk (1880-1931) and Claude W. (1883-1915).

BURIAL INFO OF BENJ F. ALEXANDER , HIS SISTER DEBORAH AND HIS 10 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER, LIZZIE

Benjamin Franklin Alexander (died 1883) is buried next to his sister Debora McCree Alexander Alexander (she married another Alexander- died 1884) and Benjamin’s young daughter Lizzie who died at age 10 in 1877. These burials are at Mount Carmel Cemetery in Lonoke, Arkansas.

These 3 graves are next to each other and the grave stones are of the same style. Deborah’s gravestone says on top “Aunt”; Lizzie’s says “Sister”; and Ben’s says “Father.”

This publication says that Benj Franklin  was in "CSA Co I, 5 Arkansas; husband of E Flynt."
