Mrs.Ruby V. Simmons, 92 of Newport, a retired music teacher, widow of William L Simmons Sr., died Friday. She was a member of Emmanuel Baptist church. Visitation will be fro 5-9 today at Dillinger Funeral Home. funeral will be at 2 PM Monday at the funeral home by the Rev. Ray Edmondson. Burial will be in Sandhill Cemetery, Auvergne.
Survivors are a son, Gene E. Simmons of Searcy; a daughter Wilma Elphingstone of Newport; and four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
