Notes

Note 1

note that Tulliola Hobbs 1842 and Cornelia McGuire 1838 are about same age and familys are near each other in both 1850 and 1860 census of Limestone Cty, Alabama. may have been lifelong friends as suggested by marriages and locations over their lifetimes.

Interesting to see that these two women connect first thru William Lafayette Taylor b 1846 beginning sometime before 1868 Marriage in Limestone Cty Ala and following thru with Ben F Simmons b 1860 and into Jackson Cty Arkansas.

Both Taylor and Simmons married a daughter of each of these women. From another point of view, Simmons married two of Taylor's daughters, step daughter first and granddaughter of Tulliola second.

i.e. Gran Osier is grandmother of "Ma Pete"-Lula Ellen Taylor.

Note also how Ben Simmons and William L Taylor named sons for each other-- Benjamin L Taylor born 1877 and William Lafayette Simmons born 1890. and Jimme B Taylor named after Lucy James Simmons-Miss Jimmie
