Eleanor was born in 1709 in Maryland, the daughter of John Sr Bowie and Mary Mulikin.
She died after 1776. The place is not known.
She had two marriages/partners. Her first husband was Benjamin Brooke, who she married in ABT 1726. The place has not been found. Their only known child was Benjamin (1727-1765).
Her second husband was Edward Clagett, who she married in 1732 in Maryland. Their six known children were Richard (c1735-?), Mary (c1735-?), John (1733-?), Nicholas (1745-?), Wiseman (1748-?) and Eleanor Bowie (1749-?).
