Roxie Goodwin, age 88, passed away Thursday, July 30, 2009 in Heber Springs. Roxie was born September 30, 1920 in Lonoke County to the late Carroll and Laura Lankford Alberson. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Goodwin.
Survivors include son, Richard Goodwin of North Little Rock; three daughters, Oneta (Bill) Williams of Heber Springs, Wanda (Ron) Diehl of Schaumburg, Ill., and Charlotte (Bob) Willis of St Joseph, Mo.; brother, James Alberson of Maumelle; sisters, Joy Braden of Heber Springs and Ruth Fenton of Jacksonville; eight grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
