Lena Francis Thomason Copeland: LENA F. COPELAND of North Little Rock, age 95, born in Lonoke, Ark., on April 9, 1907, to Mike and Annie (Hail) Thomason, left this world to be with the Lord, Sunday, June 30, 2002, in Morrilton, Ark.

She is preceded in death by her husband, William Taft Copeland, and one son, Robert Ardith Atkinson. She is survived by one daughter, Erma Dell Paladino of North Little Rock and daughter-in- law Betty Atkinson of Parkersburg, W.Va.

She is also survived by her grandchildren Brenda Adams, William Albert Paladino, David Atkinson and wife Pam, and Kimberly Batten; her great-grandchildren include Angelia Trammell, Joseph Paladino, James Paladino, Thomas Batten, Amy Querrey, Heather Atkinson and Justin Atkinson; her great-great- grandchildren include Taylor Paladino, David Paladino, Zachary Paladino, Paige Batten, and Tia Querrey.

Lena has spent the majority of her life giving to others and loving all. She has lived a long life and has left behind many loving family members. She will be remembered and cherished always.

Graveside services will be 9 a.m. Wednesday, July 3, 2002, at Rest Hills Memorial Park, 7724 Landers Road, North Little Rock, (501) 835-3515, with Dr. James Thompson officiating.
